Abstract

International labor migration is a complex and dynamic phenomenon that has been influenced by globalization. The ILO estimates that there are 169 million international migrant workers in the world, and they make up nearly 5% of the global labor force. Migrant workers play an important role in the economies of both their countries of origin and destination, and they can contribute to economic growth, development, and social cohesion.
