SOLVING THE ECONOMIC DISPATCH PROBLEM OF A TWO-AREA POWER SYSTEM CONSIDERING TRANSMISSION CONSTRAINT USING SEMI-DEFINITE PROGRAMMING

This paper presents a method of semi-definite programming approach to solving the economic load dispatch problem in two areas of an electrical power system where tie transmission line capacity is considered as the constraint. The algorithm was developed with some equality and inequality constraints without difficulty for complex cost functions. The rate of weight loss of austenitic stainless steel immersed in fresh water after sensitization is the target focus of research.
