Abstract

Acne, a prevalent skin condition, manifests as seborrhea, blackheads, pinheads, pimples, nodules, and sometimes tissue graters. It can range from non-inflammatory to severe forms, often characterized by inflammation. The pathogenesis of acne involves various factors such as hormonal imbalances, dietary influences, stress, and inadequate skincare practices. These factors can lead to the overproduction of sebum, blockage of follicles, and the proliferation of acne-causing bacteria, including Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis. This abstract provides an overview of the multifaceted factors contributing to acne development and progression.
