Abstract

Job burnout, characterized by prolonged responses to chronic emotional and interpersonal stressors at work, poses significant challenges in modern workplaces. This multidimensional construct, encompassing inefficacy, exhaustion, and cynicism, has been extensively studied for its adverse effects on individuals and organizations. Burnout diminishes motivation and disrupts work relationships, leading to reduced productivity and increased absenteeism. Moreover, its implications extend beyond the workplace, affecting emotional and physical health. This paper delves into the complexities of job burnout, its consequences, and the barriers hindering effective mitigation strategies
