A GUIDE TO CREATING 3D MODELS USING 3D PRINTING TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

This scientific paper provides a comprehensive guide for creating 3D models using 3D printing technology. The paper covers the history of 3D printing, the process of designing a model on CAD software, saving the file in a 3D printable format, features of 3D printing technology, available materials for printing, and examples of products created through 3D printing. The paper also includes a detailed description of the process of designing a 3D model in Autodesk 3D Studio Max, as well as common mistakes that occur when exporting files and how to fix them. The Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) process is used to print the 3D model, including information on the printing process, time and cost of production, and popular materials used for 3D printing. The paper concludes with an analysis of the printing process and future potential applications of 3D printing technology.
