Abstract

Blockchain technology has emerged as a dynamic force, finding extensive application in the cryptocurrency realm, particularly for recording and validating transactions in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. Essentially, a blockchain functions as a distributed database, serving as a public ledger that meticulously chronicles every digital transaction conducted across diverse entities. The veracity of each entry in this public ledger is authenticated through consensus among the majority of participants within the entire network. Notably, data once inscribed in this system becomes immutable. In effect, the blockchain stands as an indelible repository of every transaction ever executed. This technological innovation empowers individuals to engage in currency exchange devoid of a centralized governing body, transcending geographical boundaries, all the while resting on a foundation of trust in the collective authority.
