SECURE YOUR HOME WITH GSM-BASED LPG GAS LEAK DETECTION
Abstract
The utilization of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) in various applications presents inherent risks, with gas leakage potentially leading to catastrophic consequences for human lives and property. This study endeavors to develop a precise and cost-effective gas leak detection system designed to swiftly identify LPG gas leaks and promptly notify relevant personnel to take precautionary measures. The proposed system relies on sensors to monitor the presence of LPG gas in the environment. When a gas leak is detected, the system activates a loud buzzer to provide an immediate audible warning, alerting individuals in the vicinity to the potential danger. Simultaneously, it dispatches an alert message through the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) to the designated responsible individual who can take control of the situation. The system's dual approach, featuring audible alerts and SMS notifications, offers a robust and effective solution for gas leak detection, ensuring the safety of individuals while also facilitating timely response from responsible authorities. In summary, this project strives to elevate safety standards by introducing an efficient gas leak detection system that not only alerts individuals in real-time but also empowers preemptive safety measures to mitigate the hazards associated with LPG gas leaks.
