THE ROLE OF COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES IN IMPROVING STAFF WELL-BEING IN UNIVERSITIES: A CASE STUDY OF EKITI STATE, NIGERIA
Abstract
The findings of this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge by providing empirical evidence on the impact of cooperative societies on the well-being of university staff. Specifically, the research aims to assess the effects of educational loans, land acquisition, and commodity purchases on the well-being of university staff members. The study's outcomes will inform policymakers, cooperative societies, and university management about the potential benefits and limitations of cooperative initiatives in improving the standard of living and overall well-being of university staff.
