Abstract

E-learning has emerged as a global method of sharing information and providing education to students worldwide. This paper explores the concept of e-learning, which utilizes the Internet and multimedia materials to facilitate learning and education. By leveraging current educational technologies, e-learning offers a new medium for connectivity and fosters a dynamic learning environment. Electronic platforms equipped with content management systems and social networking features have revolutionized the educational landscape by providing access to assignments, study materials, professional development courses, and virtual classes. These platforms cater to a large number of students and encompass various learning resources such as videos, reading materials, and tests. Additionally, they facilitate interaction between students and professors through social networking forums. One key characteristic of these resources is that they can be accessed digitally or non-digitally and are often available under open licenses, allowing free access, use, adaptation, and distribution without any restrictions.
