Abstract

Communication is a fundamental aspect of human life, and African traditional systems of communication are essential components of African culture. Through a review of relevant literature and an examination of the taxonomy and gradual distinctiveness of African traditional systems of communication, this article highlights the significance of these systems and the challenges faced in sustaining them in contemporary society.
