INNOVATIONS IN HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT: EGYPT'S TRANSITION TO SUSTAINABLE GROWTH
Abstract
Human Resource Development (HRD) encompasses multifaceted dimensions, encompassing both internal and external organizational frameworks. Within the context of the external environment, HRD is intricately linked with the broader institutional landscape of a nation. This symbiotic relationship is instrumental in enhancing organizational capacities, propelling the trajectory towards a knowledge-driven society, and fostering the evolution of "knowledge-based production" (Fleming and Soborg, 2002). Conversely, the internal milieu of HRD revolves around the cultivation of a managerial ethos that empowers individuals to channel their energies towards shared visions and common objectives. In essence, this process is fundamentally concerned with unlocking and maximizing the latent potential within human resources (Hood, 1999).
