Abstract

Marxist historical materialism encompasses a profound perspective on mass history, rooted in the dynamic interplay between the objective majority, their labor practices, and the driving forces of historical progress. This perspective underscores the pivotal role of the masses in shaping history and their significance in both the creation and comprehension of historical narratives. Emphasizing the masses as the architects of change, it highlights their social consciousness, which, in turn, shapes social existence. This paper explores the multifaceted dimensions of the Marxist mass view of history, encompassing the masses as creators of history, active participants in cognitive processes, and bearers of social value. Through a systematic analysis, it delves into the intricate relationship between the masses and historical development, shedding light on their pivotal position in the grand tapestry of human history.
